Solar air heating
- Solar air heaters work on a principle similar to solar water heaters.
- Air is heated directly in collectors and stored in a tank packed with rock, gravel or pebbles.
- When hot air is needed for a living space, cool air is pushed through the storage to get heated up before it is circulated in the room.
